The Last Godkiller
A reputation. A rumor. A lie.

It was taught that godkillers were mankind’s last effort to rid the mortal realm of the gods that brought it to near ruin.
But the gods are vengeful.
And the godkillers have gone extinct.
Except for one.
18-year-old Asherah is a sea tradesman living a quiet life on the outskirts of Keydaia and tending to her sick brother. She has definitely never killed a god. However, her birthmark, which matches the legendary godkiller mark of old, would beg to differ.
Now, she has a reputation she can’t live up to, and no amount of protests can save her when the king of Keydaia calls upon her. A god is rumored in the east, and Asherah—the last godkiller—must deliver his heart to the king or risk her beloved brother to conscription. A fate he would not survive with his chronic ailment.
But the kingdom in the east is far from welcoming, and it seems she isn’t the only one with a reputation preceding her. The rumored god is just as mortal as she is and far too charming for his own good. She may not be a godkiller, and he may not be a god, but if they can’t make the rest of the world see that, they risk losing everything, including each other.
